On November 25th, Josh Wetson, one of the most important donors and partners of the Academic College, visited the Academic College.
This event was attended by Mr. Abraham Ben Shushan, CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation, Dr. Orna Berry, Chair of Governing Committee of the College, Israel Zeng, president of the College, Nehemia Fridland, vice president, Dror Amir, CEO of the College and other representatives.
Mr. Weston received a detailed review of the College's development plans and of its current community projects.
Asaf Levi, a senior at the School of Computer Science, spoke about an adult education venture that he had developed and is currently managing in the context of the College's social entrepreneurship program (funded by the Rothschild Caesarea Foundation). Mr. Weston presented the student with a green MIT laptop and invited him to start a computer-based project in the field of technological education in Jaffa.
