Applied Research

1 (62).jpgIn line with MTA’s commitment to serving society’s most acute needs, the college’s applied research centers focus on topics of the highest national or global priority level in order to promote both scholarship and applicable solutions to acute technological and social challenges.

MTA's applied research centers all combine cutting-edge research with applied teaching and training for MTA students and practitioners, alongside service to the community. The centers are led by outstanding scholars, with an impressive research record and innovative ideas.

Research in each center advances innovative fields of knowledge and integrative academic methodologies, and is conducted through collaborations with off-campus partners, including businesses, civil society associations, municipal units, government, private entrepreneurs, and with domestic and international academic and research institutes.
