Programs for Adults and the Wider Community

Academic Tastes: a series of lectures bringing academic knowledge to the community

A series of public talks by MTA faculty, providing diverse local audiences with interesting content from the different departments at the College, with an emphasis on useful, community-oriented topics—from preventative health to psychological boundaries—that can help listeners handle life's challenges.

Academic Touches: Giving adults with no prior background a touch of higher learning

The program gives adults without prior academic, or even high-school, education a chance to take an academic course and gain academic credit. Participants—local residents in Jaffa, including Arab residents—receive group support, as well as personal mentoring by MTA students.
