The Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo is a unique academic institution, carefully combining uncompromising quality teaching, applied research, and grounded community involvement. We believe that as a public institution it is our duty to put our academic resources in service of society's most acute needs, through teaching, research, and entrepreneurial social programs.
In each of these areas we are fortunate and honored to have the support of partners from the public, private and civil sectors who are invested in our different program in many ways. We welcome your additional support.
Our academic program areas are driven both by academic curiosity and by social importance, combining theoretical rigor and community-oriented application. MTA trains students as movers and shakers in their respective fields. Various MTA programs provide students with unique opportunities for gaining practical experience in public, private and civic organizations, and for developing their own ideas into sustainable projects.
MTA is seeking support in order to be able to offer more scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, based on academic merit, social involvement, and/ financial need.
MTA's applied research centers focus on few topics of high national and global priority, aiming to promote scholarship and develop creative applicable solutions to today's challenges through innovative and applied research, as well as offer advanced practical training for students.
MTA is currently seeking support for the following centers of applied science and research:
- At the School of Behavioral Sciences: a Parent-Child Institute and a Psychotherapy Center
- At the School for Management and Economics: a center for Behavioral Finance
Our social programs effectively utilize our academic resources to foster social change. Social entrepreneurship plays a key role in creating the infrastructure for such change, and many of these programs were developed at the MTA Entrepreneurship Center. Each program offers unique opportunities for support and investment .
