MTA hosted a multi-participant international conference on C ++
Our School of Computer Science, headed by Dr. Amir Kirsch, hosted the first international conference on the C ++ programming language. Attended by some of the leading experts in the field, the conference drew some 250 guests from Israel and abroad, who came to learn from opinion leaders and prominent figures in the programming field.
Held on our campus, the four-day event comprised lectures and workshops in two parallel tracks, in Hebrew and in English. Among the speakers was Jason Turner, a world-renowned C ++ expert, who delivered two lectures, entitled Understanding Object Lifetime and The Best Parts of C++. In addition, Phil Nash of JetBrains, one of the leading programming language developers, gave programming workshops.
