ד"ר קרולינה טננבאום ברוכי

    אחות עם התמחות בתחומי אונקולוגיה, טיפול פליאטיבי, לימודי מוגבלויות, רפואת חירום וקידום בריאות. עסקה בכל התחומים בבריאות הקהילתית ושימשה כמנהלת במרפאת אחיות במכבי שירותי בריאות. בעלת תואר שני ברפואת החירום. משנת 2011 מתמקדת עבודתה במחקר על חוויותיהם של אנשים עם מוגבלות שמיעה בחיי היומיום ובמצבי חירום, תוך שימת דגש על שיפור הנגישות, התקשורת והכללנות (inclusivity).
    בשנת 2020, השלימה לימודי דוקטורט וכיום מחזיקה בתפקידים משמעותיים, כראשת בית הספר למדעי הסיעוד במכללה האקדמית תל אביב-יפו, וכן כמרצה בתואר שני במחלקה לרפואת החירום בפקולטה למדעי הבריאות באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב. כמו כן, חברה במרכז למחקר המוכנות באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון בנגב.
    מעבר לפעילות המחקרית, ד"ר טננבאום ברוכי מעורבת ופעילה בפרויקטים פרקטיים. הפרויקטים כוללים בין השאר פיתוח מסיכות שקופות במהלך משבר ה-COVID19 , יצירת אפליקציה לתקשורת לצוותי החילוץ, והובלת סדנאות לעובדי מערכת הבריאות. זיקתה לתחום נובעת מהיותה בת בכורה להורים חרשים ורצונה  להשפיע על חייהם של אנשים עם מוגבלות שמיעה.
