    ד״ר תמיר מנדל הוא חבר סגל בבית הספר למערכות מידע. קודם לכן היה פוסט־דוקטורט באוניברסיטת ניו יורק, וקיבל דוקטורט מאוניברסיטת תל אביב. מחקרו עוסק באינטראקציה אדם–בינה מלאכותית (Human-AI Interaction), ובוחן כיצד מערכות בינה מלאכותית משפיעות על האמון, ההתנהגות וקבלת החלטות של משתמשים בתחומי הבריאות, הפיננסים ואבטחת המידע.
