מערכות מידע תואר ראשון

    הדקנית המייסדת של בית הספר למערכות מידע במכללה האקדמית תל־אביב-יפו. לפרופ' גפני ניסיון רב בתעשיית ההיי־טק בניהול פרויקטים, בניתוח מערכות ובפיתוח המחשוב בארגונים שונים. היא עוסקת בתחום המחשוב מאז שירותה בצה"ל כבוגרת ממר"מ. היא סיימה תואר ראשון בהצטיינות בכלכלה ובמדעי המחשב מאוניברסיטת בר־אילן, ויש לה תואר שני במדעי הניהול במערכות מידע מאוניברסיטת תל־אביב ותואר שלישי במנהל עסקים עם התמחות במערכות מידע מאוניברסיטת בר־אילן.

    פרופ' רות גפני חוקרת את תחומי מערכות המידע ואבטחת הסייבר, וכן היא פעילה בארגוני מערכות מידע בארץ ובעולם. היא השתתפה בפעילויות אקדמיות בין־לאומיות, כמו פרויקט In2It של Erasmus שנעשה עם אוניברסיטאות באירופה, ניהלה תחרויות סייבר CTF עם חברת Checkpoint ואוניברסיטאות מאוסטרליה ומסין, הכינה תקן בין־לאומי, בראשות ארגוני תקינה בין־לאומיים (ACM, IEEE), לתוכנית הלימודים האקדמיים באבטחת סייבר.
