מר אמיר קירש

מדעי המחשב תואר ראשון

    מרצה במחלקה למדעי המחשב במכללה האקדמית תל־אביב-יפו משנת 1998. אמיר עבד במשך השנים במגוון תפקידי פיתוח וניהול בתעשיית התוכנה, הוא חבר בוועדת התקינה הישראלית של שפת C++, בין מארגני קבוצת המיטאפ והכנס השנתי CoreCpp של קהילת מפתחי C++ בישראל ודובר בעל שם בכנסים בין־לאומיים בנושאי פיתוח תוכנה ושפת C++.

    מאחר שחשוב לאמיר לחשוף את תחום התוכנה ומדעי המחשב לילדות ולילדים צעירים, לבנות ולבני הנוער ולמגוון אוכלוסיות, הוא יזם וקידם את יום המתכנתים הצעירים באקדמית תל‏־אביב-יפו וכן קורסים ללימוד תכנות לתלמידות ולתלמידים ערבים ויהודים תושבי יפו והסביבה.

    תחום מחקרו העיקרי הוא הוראת מדעי המחשב, אמיר פרסם מאמרים רבים בתחום, אחד מהם זכה בתואר "המאמר הטוב ביותר" בכנס ICCSE 2021 (International Conference on Computer Science and Education).

    אמיר קירש הוא מרצה מן החוץ באוניברסיטת תל־אביב, ובעבר היה מרצה אורח באוניברסיטת בר־אילן, במכללת תל-חי ובאוניברסיטת סטוניברוק שבארצות הברית.
