מרצה בכירה וראש התוכנית לתואר ראשון

    בשנת 2016  קיבלה את הדוקטורט שלה בתחום מערכות מידע מאוניברסיטת חיפה, ומייד הצטרפה לסגל בית הספר למערכות מידע שבמכללה, וכיום היא ראשת התוכנית לתואר ראשון.

    המחקר שלה בתחום תהליכי פיתוח מערכות מתמקד בהיבטים האנושיים של תהליכים אלו, כלומר במתודולוגיות אג'ייליות, כמו ארכיטקטורה בפיתוח אג'יילי ובהגדרת הדרישות והתפקידים. בנוסף לכך חוקרת ד"ר סופיה שרמן את ההיבטים הרכים שבפיתוח מערכות. תחום זה מתייחס לנושאים, כמו עבודת צוות, עבודה שיתופית ופיתוח מיומנויות רכות.
