ד"ר טאובה-דיין היא פסיכולוגית התפתחותית מומחית ומדריכה, חוקרת התפתחות האדם בגישה אקולוגית רגישת-הקשר ומומחית בלימודי אסיה. היא סיימה לימודי התואר הראשון בחוג לפסיכולוגיה ובחוג ללימוד אסיה באוניברסיטת חיפה, כולל השתתפות בתוכנית ללימודי השפה היפנית באוניברסיטת ואסדה שבטוקיו כזוכת מלגה מטעם ממשלת יפן. לד"ר טאובה-דיין יש תואר שני בפסיכולוגיה מהמעבדה להתפתחות הילד באוניברסיטת חיפה, תואר שלישי בתוכנית הצטיינות בינלאומית ואינטרדיסציפלינרית בחוג ללימודי אסיה באוניברסיטת חיפה בשיתוף עם האוניברסיטה העברית, ופוסט דוקטורט במרכז דואט במחלקה לפסיכולוגיה באוניברסיטת בן גוריון. לד"ר טאובה-דיין ניסיון עשיר כפסיכולוגית התפתחותית בעבודה עם ילדים וילדות בגיל הרך, הורים וצוותים חינוכיים ומקצועיים, ובהובלה והדרכה של צוותי פסיכולוגיות בשירות הציבורי.
